It is a military cloth made by making a patchwork of 3 different types of duck fabrics and washing them thoroughly. The uneven texture of the thick fabric and the puckering of the sewn parts give it a tough presence. An antique gold "BasShu" brass name is attached to the bottom right.
You can hang it over the sofa, use it as a bed cover in the bedroom, use it as a dining table cloth, or hang it as a partition.
